gorgeous Table for the Price! : 9pc Counter Height Storage Dining Table w/Lazy Susan & Chair Set
Well I just got my table, and put it together last night...doing the chairs later.
Overall I am very happy with the quality, The building of the base is very sturdy once assembled. It took me all night to do so, but I am just with this kind of thing. As with all Diy furniture, I all the time use expert carpenters glue (Tite Bond) at all joints, once it dries, the thing will never come apart. No damage to my pieces, the joints fit together pretty well, not like master craftsmanship, bod good for 'made in Malaysia'. One thing I didn't comprehend is how high the table is...duh...counter height. Well it is higher than a normal table, but thats Ok, I like having something different.
I no ifs ands or buts doubt the size will be big adequate for Thanksgiving dinner for 8, but it will be perfect for cards, and seating 4-6 for dinner. The lazy suzan was not centered correctly, so I had to modify it a bit to get it to turn without rubbing, no biggie...I made a comment to another's impart about this.
The storehouse space underneath is cute...but I doubt I'll ever use it. I do like that there are no legs at the corners, and you can sit all the way nearby it. It is not likely to tip over or anything...its very heavy and solid.
Overall, a good product. Remember...use glue! It takes longer but makes a world of difference.
